Home Renovations in Hurst, Texas
This 1965 Hurst, TX house needed an entire remodel. Here is a list of everything we did to turn this dated and dreary house into a warm and welcoming home:
- Moved the new AC/heat up to the attic
- Replaced windows
- Took a wall out between the formal living room and the family room
- Raised the flooring in the living room and turned it into a dining area
- Reworked a wall to achieve a separate mud room, large utility room, and walk-in pantry with a barn door
- Reworked both bathrooms to give a much nicer and much larger bath for the master with double vanities and a walk-in closet
- Remade the kitchen by taking the window out in exchange for French doors. Added a large gathering island, new appliances, and an apron sink. Installed old railroad flooring that we used as shelves in the kitchen.
